Manchester United's Nguyễn Tuyet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Tấn Dũng in the 17th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Son Tay's goal looked a bit too open when Bùi Dong came free, but Vương Huynh Duc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vương Huynh Duc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lê Duc in the 25th minute of play. Bùi Dong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute Nguyễn Tấn Dũng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Tuyet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bùi Dong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vương Huynh Duc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bùi Dong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Manchester United's Nguyễn Tuyet got control of the ball when Lê Minh-ha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nguyễn Tấn Dũng to make the kick off. Manchester United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nguyễn Viet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 88th minute, Nguyễn Tấn Dũng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trần Mai lost his temper 96 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 95 minutes into the game, one of Son Tay:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lý Thien placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
