Kim Lien's Đặng Hong Minh got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Phan Minh Phượng got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Kim Lien booed when HA NOI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phan Minh Phượng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hoàng Than came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Trần Bien could save by the left post.
