Vũ Khoi hit a great ball. The supporters of United Fandom FC booed when Mong Cai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Đinh Anh Hung didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trần Hong Minh was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Nguyễn Tuan Hoang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, United Fandom FC's goalkeeper Phạm Tran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nguyễn Duong. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind United Fandom FC's goalkeeper Phạm Tran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hồ Tuyet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nguyễn Tuyet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chung Hieu Ngan's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. The supporters of Mong Cai booed when United Fandom FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phan Hoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phạm Tran made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Nguyễn Duong sent off a good shot on target. Nguyễn Tuyet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Tuan Hoang in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Chung Hieu Ngan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nguyễn Tuyet was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Nguyễn Tuan Hoang scored 0-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nguyễn Tuyet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half United Fandom FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chung Hieu Ngan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Đinh Anh Hung was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Mong Cai's Đinh Anh Hung got a free kick in the 54th minute. Chung Hieu Ngan kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Nguyễn Thien kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Nguyễn Tuan Hoang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Nguyễn Thanh fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mong Cai's protests and gave Nguyễn Thanh a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Nguyễn Thanh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Nguyễn Tuan Hoang got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 70thth minute of the game Chung Hieu Ngan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mong Cai's Nguyễn Tuyet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute, Nguyễn Duong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Mong Cai booed when United Fandom FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phan Hoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nguyễn Duong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Phạm Tran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Thanh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mong Cai's Nguyễn Duong got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, United Fandom FC's Nguyễn Tuyet threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chung Hieu Ngan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nguyễn Tuyet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Tuan Hoang in the 90th minute of the match. Chung Hieu Ngan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Nguyễn Tuyet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chung Hieu Ngan in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nguyễn Tuyet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nguyễn Duong scored 1-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Phạm Tran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. United Fandom FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
