Seating: 1955, VIP seats: 169) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bùi Diem kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Gonçalo Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poseidon's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonçalo Loureiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phan Hong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 4th minute, Nguyễn Hoang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Ba Ria-Vung Tau getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Nguyễn Nam hit a great ball. Phan Hong came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Poseidon's Vágner Dias. But to his dismay, Vágner Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, Poseidon's Mattias Thorsberg got control of the ball when Nguyễn Chi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Boleslaw Moizuk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Phan Hong was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 24 played minutes Poseidon got a freekick which was hit by Carlinhos de Lara. Nguyễn Nam kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Phan Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boleslaw Moizuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Vágner Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poseidon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Nguyễn Hieu Ngan kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Phan Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vágner Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Vágner Dias notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Ba Ria-Vung Tau's Phan Hong. Phan Hong was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Phan Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boleslaw Moizuk in the 41st minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Ba Ria-Vung Tau's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Nguyet came free, but Phan Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vágner Dias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Phan Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vágner Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Lưu Phuong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Phan Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Poseidon's Boleslaw Moizuk got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ba Ria-Vung Tau's Phan Hong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Ba Ria-Vung Tau from getting a goal against them. In the 70th match minute, Ba Ria-Vung Tau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Chi to maneuver through the defense. Vágner Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Phan Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phan Hong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vágner Dias in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Hoang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ba Ria-Vung Tau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poseidon the free kick. In the 87th minute, Nguyễn Hoang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vágner Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Phan Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ba Ria-Vung Tau defense, Vágner Dias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Phan Hong. The Ba Ria-Vung Tau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Phan Hong should have stopped the shot. After 95 minutes of play, Poseidon's Vágner Dias made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Phan Hong was left in no man's land by his defense there!
