Shukrie Ching's late challenge caught a Brinklow AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shukrie Ching helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Shukrie Ching hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38th play minutes Asiz Low shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Fariz Yip and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 41st minute, Asiz Low ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fariz Yip was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 46th minute, Muhammad Shiong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ang Wah stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ang Wah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ron Ching tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Ching couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the game, Ang Wah cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Ron Ching was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 78 played minutes Muhammad Shiong rounded East Tilbury's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. 96 minutes into the game, Muhammad Shiong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brinklow AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave East Tilbury the free kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Brinklow AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
