Spectators: 7847 (Terracing: 5887, Seating: 1804, VIP seats: 156) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alex Keng took the kick off in the first half of the match. Zafran Hoe came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Home United FC's Shahiran Swee. But to his dismay, Shahiran Swee quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Hamir Choy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zafran Hoe was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. If Shahiran Swee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Balthasar Strømdahl came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Home United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balthasar Strømdahl couldn't finish the play. Zafran Hoe was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Balthasar Strømdahl showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Golders Green's Alex Keng got a free kick in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Golders Green's goal looked a bit too open when Hamir Choy came free, but Zafran Hoe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Golders Green getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Amirul Hock hit a great ball. In the 26th minute of the match, Hamir Choy tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zafran Hoe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Shahiran Swee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Teo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Zafran Hoe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shahiran Swee got free with Zafran Hoe in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Golders Green's zone, Shahiran Swee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zafran Hoe came out of the goal and Shahiran Swee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Balthasar Strømdahl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zafran Hoe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamir Choy, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Zafran Hoe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shahiran Swee in the 40th minute. Amir Seng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hafriz Choy in the 42nd minute of play. Home United FC's Hamir Choy got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute Hamir Choy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zafran Hoe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shahiran Swee came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zafran Hoe could save by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hamir Choy made a kick off. Asiz Peng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Zafran Hoe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Balthasar Strømdahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Home United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Balthasar Strømdahl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zafran Hoe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th match minute, Golders Green was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wong Yi-Sheng to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Hamir Choy made a precise shot to the right of Zafran Hoe. Golders Green's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Amir Seng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Keng in the 62nd minute of the match. If Hamir Choy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Golders Green's zone, Hamir Choy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zafran Hoe came out of the goal and Hamir Choy tried to chip the ball over his head. Afriz Shyan's late challenge caught a Home United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Afriz Shyan helped the player get up and apologised. Balthasar Strømdahl didn't quite understand what happened when in the 71 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When Home United FC's Hamir Choy in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Golders Green's goalie prevented a goal. Amir Seng made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Hafriz Choy sent off a good shot on target. Shahiran Swee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Zafran Hoe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamir Choy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zafran Hoe having to interfere. Hamir Choy scored 4-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zafran Hoe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Balthasar Strømdahl came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Home United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balthasar Strømdahl couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Hamir Choy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zafran Hoe. Golders Green's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hamir Choy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Home United FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
