With a little luck, London Colney's Todd Worrall got control of the ball when Hamir Teo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute, Hamir Teo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Azam Dryburgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hamir Teo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Todd Worrall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blair Baxter hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azam Chong in the 24th minute of play forced London Colney's goalkeeper Todd Worrall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sharizan Chian fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fakenham's protests and gave Sharizan Chian a yellow card for diving instead. Sharizan Chian hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Hamir Teo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Verne Tyrell charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Verne Tyrell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Fakenham booed when London Colney was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Den Carter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hamir Teo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Todd Worrall skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Todd Worrall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azam Chong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Azam Chong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Todd Worrall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 played minutes London Colney got a freekick which was hit by Leo Botham. Samuel Au took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Todd Worrall. London Colney's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Azam Chong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todd Worrall having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Austin Keyworth to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, London Colney's Joshua Sinclair dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Azam Chong in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Todd Worrall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joshua Sinclair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Azam Chong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todd Worrall having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azam Chong in the 63rd minute of play forced London Colney's goalkeeper Todd Worrall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Verne Tyrell was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. Verne Tyrell kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67thth minute of the game Azam Chong who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but London Colney's Todd Worrall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joshua Sinclair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Nicholas Phua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Fakenham fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Fakenham's Azam Chong looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joshua Sinclair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Todd Worrall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Todd Worrall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamir Teo in the 92nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Azam Chong sped through London Colney's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Todd Worrall. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fakenham fully deserved thier win.
