The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shahiran Chien-Kwan during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Shahiran Chien-Kwan hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Mohammad Braddell hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Asiz Pillai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicholas Phua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Fakenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shahiran Chien-Kwan to maneuver through the defense. Chichester team's Wong Tioe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Chichester team from getting a goal against them. Wong Tioe made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Hamir Teo sent off a good shot on target. Hamir Teo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wong Tioe having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Deivid Pereira made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Khairil Paine during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Chichester team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khairil Paine to maneuver through the defense. Wong Tioe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamir Teo in the 60th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Iskandar Tian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hamir Teo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 84 minutes, Sharizan Chian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fakenham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sharizan Chian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamir Teo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Chichester team getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Iskandar Tian hit a great ball. Fakenham were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
