In the 4th match minute, Boscastle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jithu Hsi to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the game, Arif Yip cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Daniel Henderson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Henderson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afiz Lam, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Dale Rajah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dale Rajah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Iskandar Liang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zack Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iskandar Liang having to interfere. Zack Ramachandran charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zack Ramachandran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st match minute, Woodley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zack Ramachandran to maneuver through the defense. Zack Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iskandar Liang having to interfere. The supporters of Boscastle booed when Woodley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shahron Paine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Woodley FC's Zack Ramachandran got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Boscastle's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Yip came free, but Daniel Henderson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dale Rajah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Woodley FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Arif Yip made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Zack Lee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iskandar Liang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Iskandar Hock was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Woodley FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boscastle the free kick. After a rather tough play, Woodley FC's Iskandar Hock got a free kick in the 57th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Arif Yip kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniel Henderson. That made the score 1-3 in the 62 minute of play. Iskandar Liang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zack Lee's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Dale Rajah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Iskandar Liang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Boscastle's Zack Koh got a free kick in the 71st minute. Daniel Henderson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ali Chan. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Woodley FC's goalkeeper Iskandar Liang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zack Lee in the 77th minute of play forced Woodley FC's goalkeeper Iskandar Liang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dale Rajah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Iskandar Liang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iskandar Liang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dale Rajah in the 81st minute of the match. Woodley FC's Iskandar Liang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zack Lee in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Zack Lee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Henderson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afiz Lam in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Boscastle's zone, Afiz Lam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Henderson came out of the goal and Afiz Lam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Woodley FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
