Danish Hsi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Koh in the 13th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Paloma:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sprint Athletic:s goal. The referee gave Sprint Athletic a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Wong Devan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Paloma's Joel Tioe. 0-2. The supporters of Paloma booed when Sprint Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Laycock didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Ron Au sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Danish Hsi skillfully saved the ball. If Sajeev Ramachandran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Koh in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danish Hsi saved Sprint Athletic from getting behind. Danish Hsi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Koh, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When Sajeev Ramachandran came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Paloma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sajeev Ramachandran couldn't finish the play. Sprint Athletic's Danish Hsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Koh in the 61st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Azam Dyce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Tioe was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. If Azam Dyce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Koh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danish Hsi having to interfere. Danish Hsi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sajeev Ramachandran in the 76th minute of the match. Azam Dyce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Sprint Athletic's Shahron Henderson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joel Tioe. That made the score 0-4 after 88 minutes of play. The Sprint Athletic players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
