Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Danial Soon fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Walcote City's protests and gave Danial Soon a yellow card for diving instead. Danial Soon hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 10 played minutes, Willenhall AFC's Hidayat Chew shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tan Peng came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Willenhall AFC reached it. Dale Pieng charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dale Pieng the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Walcote City booed when Willenhall AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dale Pieng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zak Koh's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Afriz Hsi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tan Peng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haziq Soon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zak Koh got free with Afriz Hsi in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 29 minutes, Bryan Sim made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Walcote City's Tan Peng tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haziq Soon in the 32nd minute of play forced Walcote City's goalkeeper Tan Peng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tan Peng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Sim in the 36th minute of play. Bryan Sim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tan Peng having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Darryl Hsi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tan Peng was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After the first half Willenhall AFC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haziq Soon was the one to do the kick off. Bryan Sim scored 0-5 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tan Peng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tan Peng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haziq Soon, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Walcote City's Gabriel Shyan got a free kick in the 57th minute. Haziq Soon hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 61st match minute, Willenhall AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Siang to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Willenhall AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hafriz Boon came free, but Afriz Hsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haziq Soon in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tan Peng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute Haziq Soon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tan Peng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Bryan Sim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tan Peng was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. 84 minutes into the game, Haziq Soon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Willenhall AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Walcote City the free kick. After 84 played minutes Willenhall AFC got a freekick which was hit by Haziq Soon. Haziq Soon struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Tan Peng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Willenhall AFC. The supporters of Willenhall AFC booed when Walcote City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afiz Yang didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Bryan Sim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Willenhall AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bryan Sim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Willenhall AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
