The Jester Monkeys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anil Politiek should have stopped the shot. Anil Politiek made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Ali Behzat Tansan sent off a good shot on target. Ali Behzat Tansan scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anil Politiek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th match minute, Jester Monkeys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zafran Chan to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Jester Monkeys booed when Birch House AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faiz Yeo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronn Dhanabalan during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute Romão Ornelas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anil Politiek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Birch House AFC's Romão Ornelas fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Albert Chian hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes, Ali Behzat Tansan made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Jester Monkeys's Anil Politiek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Anil Politiek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Birch House AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronn Dhanabalan came free, but Silvestre Benat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Birch House AFC's Alam Liang got a free kick in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Birch House AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jester Monkeys had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
