Jithu Henderson might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alex Soon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jithu Henderson ran back to his position shaking his head. Mujahid Chandran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Alex Soon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes of play, Mirfield United fc's Jithu Henderson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The Mirfield United fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Mujahid Chandran took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Soon. Alex Soon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Hamir Shiong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Mirfield United fc's Sajeev Rajah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Soon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. If Mujahid Chandran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Soon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mujahid Chandran in the 36th minute of the match. Sajeev Rajah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jithu Henderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Soon having to interfere. Dartsmouth United's Alex Soon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamir Shiong in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Jithu Henderson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 44 played minutes Mirfield United fc got a freekick which was hit by Jithu Henderson. In the 45th minute, Mujahid Chandran made a precise shot to the right of Alex Soon. Dartsmouth United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hamir Shiong stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Dartsmouth United's zone, Mujahid Chandran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Soon came out of the goal and Mujahid Chandran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Dartsmouth United's Alex Soon got control of the ball when Sajeev Rajah tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alex Soon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mujahid Chandran, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The supporters of Mirfield United fc booed when Dartsmouth United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wei Xuan Shiong didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Danial Dryburgh came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Dartsmouth United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danial Dryburgh couldn't finish the play. Sajeev Rajah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Alex Soon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Dartsmouth United's goal looked a bit too open when Mujahid Chandran came free, but Alex Soon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Wei Xuan Shiong fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dartsmouth United's protests and gave Wei Xuan Shiong a yellow card for diving instead. Sajeev Rajah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Soon having to interfere. Mujahid Chandran struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Alex Soon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mirfield United fc. Wei Xuan Shiong hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Sajeev Rajah dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alex Soon, 1-6. 85 minutes into the match, Dartsmouth United's goalkeeper Alex Soon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sajeev Rajah. Sajeev Rajah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Dartsmouth United's goalkeeper Alex Soon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sajeev Rajah. Alex Soon was a little too slow when Sajeev Rajah got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-7. The Dartsmouth United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mirfield United fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
