With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeo Carrizo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Woodmancote United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alex Chai in the 12th minute. A nice corner shot did that Sajeev Au got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Amadeo Carrizo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Amadeo Carrizo was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Mujahid Sim capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mujahid Sim really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 20th minute, Gerard Paine made a precise shot to the right of Shah Braddell. Woodmancote United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Sajeev Au succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. The supporters of AMED booed when Woodmancote United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Merlin Hian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shah Braddell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronn Hsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Ronn Hsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shah Braddell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bryan Lim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Woodmancote United getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gabriel Chong hit a great ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bryan Lim was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bryan Lim in the 50th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Carrizo saved AMED from getting behind. Amadeo Carrizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Lim in the 51st minute of play. Shukrie Ching could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Shah Braddell made a huge save. When Azam Pieng fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AMED's protests and gave Azam Pieng a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, AMED's Azam Pieng got a free kick in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Woodmancote United's goal looked a bit too open when Afiq Shyan came free, but Shah Braddell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the AMED defense, Haziq Boon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amadeo Carrizo. The AMED fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amadeo Carrizo should have stopped the shot. If Hidayat Leng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th minute Hidayat Chuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Carrizo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Woodmancote United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
