But to his dismay, Hidayat Peng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Afiz Teo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Chian, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute of the match NFH Family United got a corner. Redbourn AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wong Sophie ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led NFH Family United's Azli Abisheganaden to a score. 1-1 in the 14th minute. Alexander Sum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi Teo in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Redbourn AFC got a corner. NFH Family United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zafran Chuan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ronn Yi-Sheng hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Wong Sophie sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Redbourn AFC's Afiz Teo didn't even have to move. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Mark Chian put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Afiz Teo. In the 45th minute Danial Koh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Sum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victor Chan to strike the kick off in the second half. Victor Chan hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Alexander Sum came out of the goal and Zafran Chuan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mark Chian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hidayat Peng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Alexander Sum made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Hidayat Peng could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Alexander Sum however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of NFH Family United booed when Redbourn AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Pieng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ang Chew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afiz Teo having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
