An unexpectedly hard shot by Asiz Rajah in the 5th minute of play forced Woodmancote United's goalkeeper Shah Braddell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Asiz Rajah ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Shah Braddell was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Bryan Hui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Au in the 17th minute of the match. Shah Braddell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Koh in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Woodmancote United's goal looked a bit too open when Wong Butcher came free, but Shah Braddell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Bryan Hui successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Shah Braddell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asiz Rajah in the 30th minute of play. If Wong Butcher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. Oakham's supporters rose to their feet, but Asiz Rajah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shah Braddell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes into the match, Oakham's goal looked a bit too open when Bryan Lim came free, but Bryan Hui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 46 in the game by Samuel Au from a close distance when the talented Bryan Hui managed to make a qualified save. Oakham's players were relieved. The Woodmancote United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Oakham were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mujahid Sim made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Oakham's zone, Bryan Lim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryan Hui came out of the goal and Bryan Lim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mujahid Sim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bryan Hui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute Asiz Rajah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shah Braddell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 minutes of play, Oakham's Asiz Rajah made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shah Braddell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Shah Braddell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khai Amin in the 61st minute of play. Oakham's Bryan Hui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mujahid Sim in the 63rd minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Woodmancote United's goalkeeper Shah Braddell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mark Koh. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Koh got free with Shah Braddell in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shah Braddell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asiz Rajah in the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Oakham's goal looked a bit too open when Mujahid Sim came free, but Bryan Hui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bryan Hui was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Oakham supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Oakham would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
