Malmesbury City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coleford the free kick. After a rather tough play, Malmesbury City's Aga Tecson got a free kick in the 12th minute. A collision led to Malmesbury City getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Abusayyaff Biazon hit a great ball. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malmesbury City's goalkeeper Rogelio Mabaquiao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marco Lindawan's late challenge caught a Coleford's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Lindawan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, Malmesbury City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Lindawan to maneuver through the defense. Coleford's Christian Cacalda got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 29th minute of the match Aga Tecson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aga Tecson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Malmesbury City getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Aga Tecson hit a great ball. Christian Cacalda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Mabaquiao having to interfere. Rogelio Mabaquiao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Cacalda's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After 35 minutes, Jomari Gonong mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malmesbury City and the Coleford players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Malmesbury City's Jomari Gonong got a free kick in the 36th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Querimit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Cacalda in the 52nd minute of play forced Malmesbury City's goalkeeper Rogelio Mabaquiao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ben Espinosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. Rogelio Mabaquiao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Cacalda in the 61st minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Malmesbury City's goal looked a bit too open when Dolphy Gosoc came free, but Rogelio Mabaquiao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogelio Mabaquiao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Cacalda in the 70th minute of play. Christian Cacalda took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogelio Mabaquiao. Rogelio Mabaquiao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Rogelio Mabaquiao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Cacalda in the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Malmesbury City's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Cabanting came free, but Rogelio Mabaquiao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes in the game, Christian Cacalda dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Casimiro Cabanting sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jemson Lawsin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Querimit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jemson Lawsin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Querimit, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
