In the 4th minute, Javier Hernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venceslao Basagoitia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jákup Szekeres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Venceslao Basagoitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jákup Szekeres having to interfere. Nueva Caledonia's Venceslao Basagoitia got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 12 minutes of play, Nueva Caledonia's Javier Hernandez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jákup Szekeres was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute, Neckson Ganaden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Feet Toes United's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Hernandez came free, but Jákup Szekeres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michal Wolniewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Talv in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Javier Hernandez notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Feet Toes United's Jákup Szekeres. Jákup Szekeres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leslie Cordova hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Jákup Szekeres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clarence Sarigumba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nueva Caledonia were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Feet Toes United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Clarence Sarigumba took the corner. After a rather tough play, Feet Toes United's Neckson Ganaden got a free kick in the 28th minute. Nueva Caledonia's Clarence Sarigumba couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Feet Toes United. Bentong Macapugay's late challenge caught a Feet Toes United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bentong Macapugay helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Nueva Caledonia's Bentong Macapugay got a free kick in the 31st minute. The Nueva Caledonia fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Nueva Caledonia's Javier Hernandez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jákup Szekeres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venceslao Basagoitia in the 37th minute of the match. The Feet Toes United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nueva Caledonia were winning 0-4.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Hernandez in the 51st minute of play forced Feet Toes United's goalkeeper Jákup Szekeres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute, Bentong Macapugay reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jákup Szekeres. The goal made the score 0-5. Jákup Szekeres made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Javier Hernandez sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute Javier Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jákup Szekeres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led to Nueva Caledonia's Javier Hernandez getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 65 minutes, Javier Hernandez made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Feet Toes United's Jákup Szekeres tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jákup Szekeres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Hernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mar Yulo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Venceslao Basagoitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jákup Szekeres having to interfere. Javier Hernandez did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Jákup Szekeres 78 minutes into the match. In the 82ndth minute of the game Javier Hernandez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Feet Toes United's Jákup Szekeres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Nueva Caledonia booed when Feet Toes United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neckson Ganaden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Javier Hernandez in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jákup Szekeres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Feet Toes United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nueva Caledonia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
