In the 9th play minute Javier Hernandez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jákup Szekeres. 1-0. Jákup Szekeres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venceslao Basagoitia in the 12th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Javier Hernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nueva Caledonia's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Hernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jákup Szekeres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Nueva Caledonia getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Americo Dubardo hit a great ball. After 24 minutes, Mar Yulo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Feet Toes United and the Nueva Caledonia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jákup Szekeres had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Clarence Sarigumba's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 28 minutes into the match, Clarence Sarigumba notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Feet Toes United's Jákup Szekeres. Jákup Szekeres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 34 minutes into the match, Nueva Caledonia's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Talv came free, but Michal Wolniewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neckson Ganaden took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michal Wolniewicz. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teo Larrechi to make the kick off. If Venceslao Basagoitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michal Wolniewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neckson Ganaden, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 54 minutes, Hasler Lampert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nueva Caledonia and the Feet Toes United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, Hasler Lampert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Javier Hernandez in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jákup Szekeres saved Feet Toes United from getting behind. In the 61st minute Javier Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jákup Szekeres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Javier Hernandez put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jákup Szekeres. Nueva Caledonia's Javier Hernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nueva Caledonia had played much better football throughout.
