After 4 minutes, Adith Barus made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Nisam FC's Tiar Sinuraya tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Maria Football Academy's zone, Djati Kooth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jojo Ridliwan came out of the goal and Djati Kooth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maria Football Academy's Jojo Ridliwan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigit Simamora in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Nisam FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Tono Aswin hit a great ball. Maria Football Academy's Zulfikri Prima got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Zulfikri Prima put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tiar Sinuraya. Tiar Sinuraya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adith Barus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Uum Reza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Adith Barus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiar Sinuraya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Nisam FC's Tiar Sinuraya got control of the ball when Zulfikri Prima tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sigit Simamora hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Djati Kooth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jojo Ridliwan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Maria Football Academy's Mario Piliang got a free kick in the 46th minute. Fadh Fitriansyah took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jojo Ridliwan. Maria Football Academy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Djati Kooth to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Maria Football Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Piliang to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Djati Kooth kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jojo Ridliwan. That made the score 2-2 in the 54 minute of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Uum Reza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maria Football Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uum Reza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uum Reza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tiar Sinuraya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nisam FC's Tiar Sinuraya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ichwan Prima in the 65th minute of play. After some careless play in the Nisam FC defense, Adith Barus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiar Sinuraya. The Nisam FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiar Sinuraya should have stopped the shot. Djati Kooth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zulfikri Prima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Maria Football Academy's zone, Djati Kooth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jojo Ridliwan came out of the goal and Djati Kooth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ichwan Prima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Tiar Sinuraya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Nisam FC booed when Maria Football Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zulfikri Prima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Guci kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. When Zulfikri Prima came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Maria Football Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zulfikri Prima couldn't finish the play. Maria Football Academy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
