Awalludin Sarwanto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Awalludin Budikusuma, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Awalludin Sarwanto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fery Sipayung in the 10th minute of the match. Rabun Sembiring might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Awalludin Sarwanto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rabun Sembiring ran back to his position shaking his head. Heri Eiboy hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Rabun Sembiring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Rabun Sembiring shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Awalludin Sarwanto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Awalludin Budikusuma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Awalludin Sarwanto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. FC Beowulf KL's Rabun Sembiring got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Awalludin Budikusuma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Awalludin Sarwanto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. After the first half FC Beowulf KL were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rabun Sembiring made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fery Sipayung in the 53rd minute of play forced PSM Penebal's goalkeeper Awalludin Sarwanto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taufik Tarigan tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Awalludin Sarwanto. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 54th minute. Awalludin Budikusuma succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 60th playminute. Rabun Sembiring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65thth minute of the game Budi Ginting who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PSM Penebal's Awalludin Sarwanto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Rabun Sembiring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Rabun Sembiring dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Awalludin Sarwanto, 0-4. 73 minutes into the game, Rabun Sembiring recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Awalludin Sarwanto. Rabun Sembiring showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. 82 minutes into the match, PSM Penebal's goal looked a bit too open when Rabun Sembiring came free, but Awalludin Sarwanto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Awalludin Budikusuma struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Awalludin Sarwanto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Beowulf KL. PSM Penebal's Awalludin Sarwanto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rabun Sembiring in the 90th minute of play. Kompos Budiarto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Awalludin Sarwanto. PSM Penebal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 95thth minute of the game Rabun Sembiring who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PSM Penebal's Awalludin Sarwanto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 97th minute Rabun Sembiring shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Awalludin Sarwanto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Beowulf KL's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
