The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th match minute, Kutarusebsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adith Sinuraya to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Kitam Ramadhonna successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Kutarusebsa's Haryanto Chaniago slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kitam Ramadhonna. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. 20 minutes into the match, Bento Piliang notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Rareno's Kitam Ramadhonna. Kitam Ramadhonna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Taufik Suprianto took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kitam Ramadhonna. Kitam Ramadhonna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The attack was good, but when Taufik Suprianto in the 28th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 35th minute, Ricky Darwis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taufik Suprianto did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Kitam Ramadhonna 36 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Rareno's Rio Putiray got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Uum Yarman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigit Fitriansyah, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Taufik Suprianto to make the kick off. Mario Wibowo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kitam Ramadhonna having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Rareno's goal looked a bit too open when Taufik Suprianto came free, but Kitam Ramadhonna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kitam Ramadhonna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haryanto Chaniago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 59 minutes, Haryanto Chaniago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kutarusebsa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haryanto Chaniago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taufik Suprianto in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kitam Ramadhonna saved Rareno from getting behind. Kitam Ramadhonna came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Kutarusebsa's Taufik Suprianto. But to his dismay, Taufik Suprianto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After 64 played minutes Rareno got a freekick which was hit by Nasum Muchtaji. 66 minutes into the game, Kia Fitriansyah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rareno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kutarusebsa the free kick. In the 66th match minute, Rareno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kia Fitriansyah to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taufik Suprianto in the 67th minute of play forced Rareno's goalkeeper Kitam Ramadhonna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Taufik Suprianto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uum Yarman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kia Fitriansyah in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Taufik Suprianto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haryanto Yarman kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Jakob Chaniago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Rareno's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Wibowo came free, but Kitam Ramadhonna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kitam Ramadhonna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taufik Suprianto in the 86th minute of the match. Kitam Ramadhonna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Taufik Suprianto's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute, Haryanto Chaniago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
