The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Risto Viilop fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dede Haryanto having to interfere. A collision led to Poeraoe getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Fadh Dermawan hit a great ball. Hardy Sinambela charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hardy Sinambela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hardy Sinambela kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Azhar Sulaiman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Reynaldo Kusumah showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 13th minute Risto Viilop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dede Haryanto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azad Jasmin in the 18th minute of play forced Poeraoe's goalkeeper Dede Haryanto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dede Haryanto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Risto Viilop, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. FC Tambun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joshua Dewa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dede Haryanto came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Tambun's Risto Viilop. But to his dismay, Risto Viilop quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The Poeraoe players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Tambun were winning 1-4.

After a rather tough play, Poeraoe's Wahyu Haryanto got a free kick in the 55th minute. Dede Haryanto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azad Jasmin, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The supporters of FC Tambun booed when Poeraoe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fery Simamora didn't get a good kick on the ball. Poeraoe's Dede Haryanto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Syamsul Saad in the 94th minute of play. Dede Haryanto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azad Jasmin in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute Azad Jasmin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dede Haryanto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 99 minutes into the match, Poeraoe's goalkeeper Dede Haryanto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Risto Viilop.
