The referee showed Gendo Hidayat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Fery Simamora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poeraoe's supporters rose to their feet, but Fery Simamora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candra Arbi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Rochy Perangin-angin came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Poeraoe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rochy Perangin-angin couldn't finish the play. Dede Haryanto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jatuh Sitepu in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Poeraoe's Bento Sitorus got a free kick in the 39th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reynaldo Kusumah to make the kick off. Poeraoe's Dede Haryanto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Poeraoe from getting a goal against them. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in chelviji reached it. In the 61st minute, Poeraoe's Nasum Sinuhaji seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nasum Sinuhaji the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Poeraoe protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nasum Sinuhaji had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave chelviji a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fery Panjaitan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Poeraoe's Dede Haryanto. 2-1. Dede Kusumah came free with the goalkeeper in the 98th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dede Haryanto could save by the left post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
