In the 13th minute 袁翀亮 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 巩城光 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 余桦烽 got in the 16th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but 巩城光 handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 何弘弘 kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 蒋响常 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the game, 任沙俊 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 湖北孝感电驴联队's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 维尔白 the free kick. In the 21st minute, 任沙俊 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 袁翀亮 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When 邓宁谦 got free in front of the goal in the 37th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. 狄强源 was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 巩城光 made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when 余桦烽 sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute, 唐亮邦 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

If 秦珂思 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by 袁勇迅 in the 58th minute of play forced 湖北孝感电驴联队's goalkeeper 巩城光 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, 袁翀亮 made a precise shot to the right of 巩城光. 湖北孝感电驴联队's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 71st minute, 余桦烽 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 维尔白 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 袁翀亮 ran back to his position shaking his head. 湖北孝感电驴联队's 巩城光 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 余桦烽 in the 87th minute of play. 鲁天晨 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 巩城光 having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. 维尔白 fully deserved thier win.
