The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, 龙宇卫 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. dock龙湖's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave East London Irons the free kick. 龙宇卫 kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 唐雄挺 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 邓霖松, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When 邓霖松 fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored East London Irons's protests and gave 邓霖松 a yellow card for diving instead. 邓霖松 hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 13th match minute, dock龙湖 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 龙宇卫 to maneuver through the defense. When 姚升森 came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the dock龙湖 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 姚升森 couldn't finish the play. If 高沙沙 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by 秦克松 in the 20th minute of play forced East London Irons's goalkeeper 尹傲克 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 尹傲克 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 陶天青 in the 21st minute of the match. After 29 played minutes East London Irons got a freekick which was hit by 庞城坚. 洪森桦's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but 唐雄挺 firmly grabbed it by the left post. 33 minutes into the match, 秦克松 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 尹傲克. East London Irons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 秦克松 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. East London Irons's 尹傲克 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 庞枫杰 in the 37th minute of play. 陶天青 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. dock龙湖's 秦克松 got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, 姚升森 made a precise shot to the right of 尹傲克. East London Irons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The East London Irons players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. dock龙湖 were winning 0-2.

尹傲克 made an important save on a dangerous shot by 陶天青 in the 52nd minute. 柳卫烨 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 尹傲克 having to interfere. After a rather tough play, East London Irons's 徐光镇 got a free kick in the 57th minute. 庞枫杰 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to dock龙湖 getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. 庞枫杰 hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, 洪森桦 managed to get in a good position for a shot. East London Irons's supporters rose to their feet, but 洪森桦 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 唐雄挺 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 陶天青 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 尹傲克 having to make a save. East London Irons's 尹傲克 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save East London Irons from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute 邵真克 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 唐雄挺 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, 徐光镇 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 何竞庭 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. 唐雄挺 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 姚升森 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 尹傲克 having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as 秦克松 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 尹傲克. That made the score 0-4 in the 96 minute of play. When the match was over dock龙湖 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than East London Irons throughout the match.
