To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 唐雄挺 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 柳建岚 in the 26th minute of play. 余川竞 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to 贵州省甲秀楼代表队 getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. 余川竞 hit a great ball. 陶天青 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 孟川星 having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 秦克松 to make the kick off. 秦克松 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. 孟川星 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
