The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Thurnscoe's 이 맹 in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Weymouth's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 김 기 in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 최 원 saved Weymouth from getting behind. 당 애 hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 최 원 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 기 in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute 이 맹 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 최 원 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, 이 맹 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thurnscoe's supporters rose to their feet, but 이 맹 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 최 원 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute, 이 제갈 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 21 minutes, 김 루 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weymouth's supporters crossed their fingers, but 김 루 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 0-1 became the score in the 24th minute when 김 기 elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 김 루 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 김 손 having to make a save. In the 33rd minute, 김 풍 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 김 손 was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when 김 루 got free with 김 손 in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thurnscoe's 이 맹 got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 최 원 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 김 기 in the 43rd minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 김 루 to make the kick off. Weymouth's 이 길 got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 이 맹 hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 김 루's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 김 손 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. 최 원 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 이 맹 in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Weymouth's goalkeeper 최 원 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 김 기. In the 94th minute, 박 위 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thurnscoe were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
