Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Barnes Knaack started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute, Caine Gray made a precise shot to the right of Drew Ceney. Hahndorf's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Aron Sayner received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Neale Belford came out and tried to block the shot, but Aron Sayner slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute, Bray Roach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Gilgering booed when Hahndorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Logan Hess didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gilgering's zone, Aron Sayner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Neale Belford came out of the goal and Aron Sayner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aron Sayner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Neale Belford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hahndorf's Boris Mundine got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute, Hahndorf's Aron Sayner ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Neale Belford. Neale Belford yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 46 minutes into the match, Hahndorf's Aron Sayner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Neale Belford narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Barnes Knaack recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute Barnes Knaack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drew Ceney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Barnes Knaack managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gilgering's supporters rose to their feet, but Barnes Knaack was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Drew Ceney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Neale Belford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Sayner, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Barnes Knaack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 65 minutes, Barnes Knaack managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gilgering's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barnes Knaack was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Preston Fessa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Neale Belford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Caine Gray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drew Ceney having to interfere. Bray Roach charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bray Roach the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hahndorf getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Bray Roach hit a great ball. In the 81stth minute of the game Barnes Knaack who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hahndorf's Drew Ceney was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Drew Ceney made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Caine Gray sent off a good shot on target. Aron Sayner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boris Mundine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neale Belford having to interfere. Aron Sayner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luke Butterfield might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Neale Belford. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luke Butterfield ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gilgering players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hahndorf.
