Underwood's supporters rose to their feet, but Arneil Oreilly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Underwood's Boyd Dowling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darren Wivell in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Underwood getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Arneil Oreilly hit a great ball. In the 99th minute, Keefe Jobson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Underwood's Boyd Dowling didn't even have to move. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Underwood had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
