Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brooklet's Rudolph Powley started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind FarmersXI's goalkeeper Everitt Nurthen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brendan Jobson got free with Everitt Nurthen in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Ceney in the 9th minute of play forced FarmersXI's goalkeeper Everitt Nurthen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Bray Toth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Rudolph Powley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brye Feutrill in the 13th minute of play forced FarmersXI's goalkeeper Everitt Nurthen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everitt Nurthen made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Brendan Jobson sent off a good shot on target. FarmersXI's Everitt Nurthen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save FarmersXI from getting a goal against them. Darryl Wadley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Ross having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Rudolph Powley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Everitt Nurthen was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After 27 minutes, Darryl Wadley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FarmersXI and the Brooklet players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FarmersXI's Darryl Wadley got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Rudolph Powley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FarmersXI's Everitt Nurthen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolph Powley in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th minute, Brooklet's Brendan Jobson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Everitt Nurthen. Everitt Nurthen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Brooklet's Ian Ceney got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 40 minutes of play, FarmersXI's Bray Toth made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damian Ross was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Darryl Wadley to strike the kick off in the second half. Rudolph Powley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, FarmersXI's goal looked a bit too open when Brendan Jobson came free, but Everitt Nurthen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brendan Jobson took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Everitt Nurthen. Everitt Nurthen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Brendan Jobson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Everitt Nurthen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudolph Powley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 64 minutes, Darryl Wadley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FarmersXI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darryl Wadley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, FarmersXI's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolph Powley came free, but Everitt Nurthen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Rudolph Powley notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of FarmersXI's Everitt Nurthen. Everitt Nurthen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Everitt Nurthen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendan Jobson in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Brye Feutrill made a precise shot to the right of Everitt Nurthen. FarmersXI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendan Jobson in the 78th minute of play forced FarmersXI's goalkeeper Everitt Nurthen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, FarmersXI's goal looked a bit too open when Brendan Jobson came free, but Everitt Nurthen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everitt Nurthen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendan Jobson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everitt Nurthen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendan Jobson in the 87th minute of the match. Everitt Nurthen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolph Powley, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. FarmersXI's Everitt Nurthen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolph Powley in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Brendan Jobson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everitt Nurthen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everitt Nurthen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendan Jobson, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the referee ended the match the Brooklet players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
