After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Elliott Norton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yellangip's supporters rose to their feet, but Elliott Norton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudolph Blattman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brooker Feutrill kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match Payton Chute shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rudolph Blattman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Damian Lascelles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carsyn Turner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. If Bradshaw Plummer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Yellangip booed when Hellovaris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darian Mclatchey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yellangip's Byron Beins got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Elliott Norton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudolph Blattman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliott Norton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Elliott Norton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute, Byron Beins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Larkins Rennie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Yellangip's goalkeeper Carsyn Turner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bradshaw Plummer. After 35 played minutes Hellovaris got a freekick which was hit by Darian Mclatchey. Elliott Norton scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rudolph Blattman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Damian Lascelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Yellangip's goalkeeper Carsyn Turner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bradshaw Plummer. Bradshaw Plummer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Carsyn Turner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Lascelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damian Lascelles to make the kick off. If Bradshaw Plummer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Bradshaw Plummer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carsyn Turner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yellangip's Carsyn Turner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradshaw Plummer in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Yellangip's zone, Damian Lascelles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carsyn Turner came out of the goal and Damian Lascelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hellovaris's Darian Mclatchey pulled a muscle in his leg after 69 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 69 minutes into the game, Carman Mcroberts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yellangip's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hellovaris the free kick. Carman Mcroberts hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Yellangip's Elliott Norton got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Hellovaris's Bradshaw Plummer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carsyn Turner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elliott Norton struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Rudolph Blattman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yellangip. Rudolph Blattman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Byron Beins, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Hellovaris's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Norton came free, but Rudolph Blattman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hellovaris's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Elliott Norton 89 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Elliott Norton was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Damian Lascelles fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hellovaris's protests and gave Damian Lascelles a yellow card for diving instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Yellangip walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
