Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Handley Boylin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Handley Boylin in the 4th minute of play forced Hackham's goalkeeper Abe Andrusiow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Hackham's goal looked a bit too open when Randolph Pfingst came free, but Abe Andrusiow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th match minute, Hackham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lawrence Bowie to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the game, Handley Boylin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Abe Andrusiow was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, EVATT's Cliff Sobczak got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Justin Kirkham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, EVATT's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Kirkham came free, but Roger Weeks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Cliff Sobczak made a precise shot to the right of Abe Andrusiow. Hackham's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After having played for 27 minutes, Randolph Pfingst managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EVATT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Randolph Pfingst was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Handley Boylin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37th play minutes Randolph Pfingst shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Abe Andrusiow and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 41st minute Randolph Pfingst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abe Andrusiow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Randolph Pfingst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Justin Kirkham to strike the kick off in the second half. Justin Kirkham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Roger Weeks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger Weeks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justin Kirkham, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 65th minute Justin Kirkham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Weeks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 minutes of play, EVATT's Randolph Pfingst made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abe Andrusiow was left in no man's land by his defense there! Randolph Pfingst struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Abe Andrusiow didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EVATT. Cliff Sobczak hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Rudolph Flisfeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Roger Weeks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Handley Boylin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abe Andrusiow. That made the score 0-5 in the 85 minute of play. If Justin Kirkham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Weeks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolph Flisfeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, EVATT's Angus Sobczak got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Rudolph Flisfeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. EVATT's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
