Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Yellangip's Elliott Norton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Irving Isaac kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When Arthur Egel came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Badgen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Egel couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute, Badgen's Arthur Egel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 15th match minute, Yellangip was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliott Norton to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Yellangip's Carsyn Turner got control of the ball when Brian Flesfader tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arthur Egel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Carsyn Turner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carsyn Turner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brian Flesfader in the 23rd minute. When Arthur Egel came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Badgen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Egel couldn't finish the play. Byron Beins charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Byron Beins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carsyn Turner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Egel in the 29th minute of the match. After 29 minutes of play Yellangip's Byron Beins was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 30 played minutes Yellangip got a freekick which was hit by Byron Beins. Arthur Egel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carsyn Turner having to interfere. Brian Flesfader sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brian Flesfader received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Carsyn Turner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Badgen's Arthur Egel got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Brian Flesfader had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arthur Egel made a kick off. Arthur Egel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute Brian Flesfader shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carsyn Turner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Egel took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carsyn Turner. Carsyn Turner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Brian Flesfader sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yellangip's Carsyn Turner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Mundine in the 72nd minute of play. Brian Flesfader received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Carsyn Turner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Brian Flesfader managed to get in a good position for a shot. Badgen's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Flesfader was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carsyn Turner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Yellangip getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Payton Chute hit a great ball. Elliott Norton kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Badgen's Arthur Egel in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yellangip's goalie prevented a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Badgen had played much better football throughout.
