Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brombin's Lawrance Dearn started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Brombin's James Jeffress got control of the ball when Bradshaw Plummer tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute Damian Lascelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Jeffress saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lawrance Dearn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Brombin booed when Hellovaris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brooker Feutrill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudolph Blattman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lawrance Dearn's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hellovaris's zone, Brice Locke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudolph Blattman came out of the goal and Brice Locke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Brombin's Lawrance Dearn in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hellovaris's goalie prevented a goal. Brice Locke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brice Locke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolph Blattman having to interfere. A collision led to Hellovaris getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Irwin Phasey hit a great ball. Lawrance Dearn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Brice Locke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 38 minutes into the game, Damian Lascelles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. James Jeffress was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th match minute, Hellovaris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rick Ludwick to maneuver through the defense. Lawrance Dearn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bradshaw Plummer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. James Jeffress tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Damian Lascelles made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Brombin got a freekick which was hit by Ace Luckham. In the 54th minute, Earl Wege hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lawrance Dearn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolph Blattman having to interfere. Brice Locke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolph Blattman having to interfere. Lawrance Dearn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rudolph Blattman having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lawrance Dearn in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rudolph Blattman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brice Locke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Hellovaris getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Darian Mclatchey hit a great ball. Brice Locke's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Rudolph Blattman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hellovaris's Rudolph Blattman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lawrance Dearn in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the match Brombin got a corner. Hellovaris's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luke Czaczka ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hellovaris's goalkeeper Rudolph Blattman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lawrance Dearn in the 93rd minute of play forced Hellovaris's goalkeeper Rudolph Blattman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Brombin's Lawrance Dearn ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rudolph Blattman. Rudolph Blattman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1.
