Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Johanz FC's Ian Flisfeder started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Henry Hursey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dale Hanlen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Jared Porteus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 17 played minutes Johanz FC got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Mccormick. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Dale Hanlen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clevedon's supporters rose to their feet, but Dale Hanlen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jared Porteus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jared Porteus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hank Pegler in the 20th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, one of Clevedon:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Benson Hunter had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Henry Aroege's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Henry Hursey put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Benson Hunter. After having played for 38 minutes, Hank Pegler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clevedon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hank Pegler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute of the match Henry Aroege shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benson Hunter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Hank Pegler took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Jared Porteus to make any attempt to save it. In the 47th minute Henry Hursey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benson Hunter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Hank Pegler made the kick off in the second half. When Clevedon's Dale Hanlen in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Johanz FC's goalie prevented a goal. 56 minutes into the match, Clevedon's Dale Hanlen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jared Porteus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Johanz FC's Ian Flisfeder dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After a rather tough play, Johanz FC's Tiger Will got a free kick in the 65th minute. Johanz FC's Jared Porteus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Hanlen in the 66th minute of play. Dale Hanlen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benson Hunter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henry Hursey in the 72nd minute. After 74 played minutes Clevedon got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Lawson. After a rather tough play, Johanz FC's Otto Facey got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Clevedon. Herman Triplett stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jared Porteus. 3-2. Jordon Wittber hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Henry Hursey's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Benson Hunter skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Benson Hunter managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Johanz FC's Henry Hursey fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Henry Hursey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Clevedon's Benson Hunter got control of the ball when Henry Hursey tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Johanz FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Clevedon.
