Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Zackery Claringbold made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the game, Nathaniel Plummer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Brown Dobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Russ Freeman kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Bartholemew Tisdell shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brown Dobson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 18 minutes, Lauder Bonnison mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kotara and the Clairville players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Kotara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauder Bonnison to maneuver through the defense. Kotara's Gregg Potter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zackery Claringbold in the 19th minute of play. Zackery Claringbold scored 2-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gregg Potter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute, Nathaniel Plummer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zackery Claringbold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gregg Potter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Connor Oneill charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Connor Oneill the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gregg Potter was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Zackery Claringbold capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zackery Claringbold really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. 31 minutes into the match, Kotara's goalkeeper Gregg Potter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Clarke. Nilson Ross blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brown Dobson having to make a save. In the 35th minute, Zackery Claringbold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelo Clarke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregg Potter having to interfere. In the 40th minute of the match, Zackery Claringbold tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gregg Potter saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Clairville's Zackery Claringbold got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zackery Claringbold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregg Potter having to interfere. Nathaniel Plummer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brown Dobson having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Clairville's Angelo Clarke got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Zackery Claringbold in the 61st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 66 minutes into the game, Clairville's Zackery Claringbold nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gregg Potter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. In the 70th minute Nathaniel Plummer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brown Dobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nathaniel Plummer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brown Dobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilson Ross in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Nathaniel Plummer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brown Dobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Clarke might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregg Potter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Clarke ran back to his position shaking his head. If Zackery Claringbold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilson Ross recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nilson Ross struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Brown Dobson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kotara. Angelo Clarke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregg Potter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
