After 9 minutes of play, Dudley Country's Ronald Kinsey made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregg Potter was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Lauder Bonnison fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kotara's protests and gave Lauder Bonnison a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kotara getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Lauder Bonnison hit a great ball. Lowrey Dollimore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dudley Country's Joshua Lenard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Dudley Country from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, Dudley Country's goalkeeper Joshua Lenard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudolph Brooks. When Nathaniel Plummer came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Kotara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nathaniel Plummer couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Kotara getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Lauder Bonnison hit a great ball. Lowrey Dollimore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute Nathaniel Plummer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joshua Lenard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Nilson Ross managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kotara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilson Ross was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd match minute, Dudley Country was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Cubitt to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute of the match Bartholemew Tisdell sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joshua Lenard skillfully saved the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Dudley Country's goal looked a bit too open when Nathaniel Plummer came free, but Joshua Lenard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronald Kinsey in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregg Potter saved Kotara from getting behind. Kotara's Nathaniel Plummer got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 44 played minutes Kotara got a freekick which was hit by Rudolph Brooks. In the 45th minute of the match Ronald Kinsey shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gregg Potter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nathaniel Plummer to strike the kick off in the second half. Lowrey Dollimore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregg Potter having to interfere. Clay Stanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 played minutes Kotara got a freekick which was hit by Rudolph Brooks. Lowrey Dollimore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregg Potter having to interfere. Dudley Country's Lowrey Dollimore got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, Ronald Kinsey lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Gregg Potter. Joshua Lenard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathaniel Plummer in the 72nd minute of play. Gregg Potter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lowrey Dollimore in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Dudley Country getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Murphy Willding hit a great ball. Ronald Kinsey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gregg Potter having to make a save. Joshua Lenard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Ross, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilson Ross in the 87th minute of play forced Dudley Country's goalkeeper Joshua Lenard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lowrey Dollimore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th match minute, Dudley Country was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clay Stanton to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kotara's goalkeeper Gregg Potter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
