When Daveyston's Cod Ziliotto, in the 38th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Daveyston. In the 46th minute, Jonathan Hauschildt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ryan Mitchell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Hauschildt in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tommy Willis made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Daveyston's Bremen Pears got a free kick in the 71st minute. 78 minutes into the match, Bangoolia Royals's goal looked a bit too open when Cod Ziliotto came free, but Ryan Mitchell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Bangoolia Royals supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bangoolia Royals would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
