Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 160) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brooks Coote kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Davey Brennand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jeremy Moon came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Doolbi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremy Moon couldn't finish the play. Edmonds Turner made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Barnes Grandison sent off a good shot on target. David Krause stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brooker Peplow's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After 11 minutes, Jamese White mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Doolbi and the Bringagee players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Doolbi getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jamese White hit a great ball. In the 14th minute Adolph Orvad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Krause saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Barnes Grandison got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jamese White was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. Bringagee's Marco Kennewell was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edmonds Turner in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Edmonds Turner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barnes Grandison in the 22nd minute. Doolbi's Edmonds Turner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clay Askew in the 25th minute of play. Brooks Coote sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brooker Peplow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. David Krause tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brooks Coote recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeremy Moon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Brooks Coote put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of David Krause. After a rather tough play, Bringagee's Cain Smee got a free kick in the 41st minute. Bringagee's Barnes Grandison got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Bringagee defense, Brooks Coote kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Krause. The Bringagee fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Krause should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clay Askew to strike the kick off in the second half. Brooker Peplow could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but David Krause made a huge save. 57 minutes into the match, Doolbi's goal looked a bit too open when Clay Askew came free, but Edmonds Turner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Brooker Peplow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Krause saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 minutes, Brooker Peplow mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Doolbi and the Bringagee players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bringagee booed when Doolbi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brooker Peplow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, David Krause successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Lance Glover kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Krause. That made the score 0-3 in the 72 minute of play. Brooker Peplow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Krause having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnes Grandison in the 92nd minute of play forced Doolbi's goalkeeper Edmonds Turner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Barnes Grandison came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Bringagee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barnes Grandison couldn't finish the play. Edmonds Turner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnes Grandison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Doolbi players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
