When Cod Stafford came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the MXW UNITED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cod Stafford couldn't finish the play. Downing Barry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bran Skittrall in the 28th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dwight Norton during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Dwight Norton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind MXW UNITED's goalkeeper Downing Barry, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bran Skittrall in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Downing Barry prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bran Skittrall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 39 minutes, Neale Wal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Donald's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neale Wal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bran Skittrall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Glover was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in MXW UNITED's zone, Randell Will stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Downing Barry came out of the goal and Randell Will tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 55 played minutes MXW UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Cod Stafford. The supporters of Donald booed when MXW UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Byrne Tupman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Bran Skittrall lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated Downing Barry. After having played for 67 minutes, Bran Skittrall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Donald's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bran Skittrall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Bran Skittrall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Donald's supporters rose to their feet, but Bran Skittrall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Downing Barry breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Downing Barry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bran Skittrall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bran Skittrall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Downing Barry having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Cod Stafford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Bran Skittrall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The MXW UNITED fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Donald were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
