Pet Circke's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barry Keayes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Jagger Fynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Barry Keayes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cullen Playford was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 44 minutes into the match, Pet Circke's goal looked a bit too open when Murdock Fallen came free, but Cullen Playford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barry Keayes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cullen Playford having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Carlton Rhoades made the kick off in the second half. Murdock Fallen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Pet Circke's Ike Kayrooz got a free kick in the 61st minute. Murdock Fallen came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cullen Playford could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Carlton Rhoades's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bishop Clark was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The Pet Circke fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kurrara were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
