Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 159) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Darley Warhurst made the kick off which started today's match. 13 minutes into the game, Bindi FC's Brookes Barugh nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edison Tout made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Brookes Barugh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Edison Tout tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Darley Warhurst recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edison Tout. Darley Warhurst showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Tooligie's goal looked a bit too open when Darley Warhurst came free, but Edison Tout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tooligie's Corder Wayland got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Tooligie's Bradshaw Mckinnes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dale Turner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Darley Warhurst struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Edison Tout didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bindi FC. Corder Wayland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dale Turner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bradshaw Mckinnes to strike the kick off in the second half. Bindi FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Bradshaw Mckinnes scored to the left of an out of position Dale Turner, making the score, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Corder Wayland kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dale Turner. That made the score 2-2 in the 58 minute of play. Darley Warhurst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edison Tout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darley Warhurst, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Bindi FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matthew Mcenally in the 71st minute. If Brookes Barugh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bradshaw Mckinnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Turner having to interfere. Darley Warhurst might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edison Tout. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darley Warhurst ran back to his position shaking his head. Bjorn Jackson kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Brookes Barugh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bindi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brookes Barugh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edison Tout breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bindi FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
