Brookes Barugh came free with the goalkeeper in the 3rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Payton Peterson could save by the left post. When Brookes Barugh came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Bindi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brookes Barugh couldn't finish the play. Dale Turner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duffield Gorham in the 15th minute of play. 21 minutes in the game, Darley Warhurst fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Payton Peterson having to interfere. Russel Lawrence's late challenge caught a Bindi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Russel Lawrence helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bindi FC booed when Panthers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Russel Lawrence didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darley Warhurst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Darley Warhurst fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bindi FC's protests and gave Darley Warhurst a yellow card for diving instead. Darley Warhurst kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Darley Warhurst managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bindi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darley Warhurst was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalton Jackson during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Panthers got a freekick which was hit by Dalton Jackson. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Darley Warhurst managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bindi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Darley Warhurst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Payton Peterson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brookes Barugh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brookes Barugh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Payton Peterson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darley Warhurst, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Brookes Barughs short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Payton Peterson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 42nd match minute, Bindi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kelvin Fulton to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Duffield Gorham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dale Turner was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Payton Peterson made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Darley Warhurst sent off a good shot on target. Darley Warhurst struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Payton Peterson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bindi FC. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ned Stevens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Duffield Gorham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panthers's supporters rose to their feet, but Duffield Gorham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dale Turner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Darley Warhurst, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 68 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Payton Peterson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Reginald Knevett kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Darley Warhurst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Payton Peterson having to interfere. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bindi FC's goalkeeper Dale Turner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 75 played minutes Panthers got a freekick which was hit by Reginald Knevett. Dale Turner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ned Stevens, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Panthers's zone, Darley Warhurst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Payton Peterson came out of the goal and Darley Warhurst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Darley Warhurst struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Payton Peterson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bindi FC. Darley Warhurst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Payton Peterson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Russel Lawrence hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Panthers's goal looked a bit too open when Darley Warhurst came free, but Payton Peterson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Panthers's goal looked a bit too open when Brookes Barugh came free, but Payton Peterson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
