Spectators: 7910 (Terracing: 6031, Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 30) NSW Fighters's Otto Jobson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes Haddon got a freekick which was hit by Peter Marcola. Rod Goodbun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Jobson in the 8th minute of the match. Rod Goodbun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Jobson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Peter Marcola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Marcola took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarrett Connolly. Jarrett Connolly dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kane Bailey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jarrett Connolly stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Marcola's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. When Bartholemew Cochrane fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NSW Fighters's protests and gave Bartholemew Cochrane a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, NSW Fighters's Bartholemew Cochrane got a free kick in the 25th minute. Peter Marcola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jarrett Connolly having to make a save. If Kane Bailey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Haddon booed when NSW Fighters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humphry Brooks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarrett Connolly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kane Bailey in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Peter Marcola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarrett Connolly was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Marcola made a kick off. Kane Bailey who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Jarrett Connolly when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jarrett Connolly was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Peter Marcola capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Peter Marcola really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. 64 minutes into the game, Otto Jobson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Rod Goodbun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rod Goodbun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Jobson in the 68th minute of the match. The supporters of NSW Fighters booed when Haddon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudy Askew didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Peter Marcola came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Haddon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Marcola couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, NSW Fighters's Carlos Watts got a free kick in the 81st minute. Kane Bailey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jarrett Connolly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blade Macinnes kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Jarrett Connolly made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Kane Bailey sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, NSW Fighters's Humphry Brooks got a free kick in the 90th minute. Kane Bailey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jarrett Connolly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Carlos Watts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
