After 15 played minutes Walgett got a freekick which was hit by Britton Lambourne. Clarke Collins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marshall Chant having to interfere. Boris Mcgirr charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boris Mcgirr the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Pimpana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Mcgirr to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Antonia Quelch in the 22nd minute really tested Brian Diefenbach's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 23 minutes into the game, Bryanne Neich was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bryanne Neich hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loud Mewburn in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marshall Chant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Pimpana booed when Walgett was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bock Porter didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Clarke Collins came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Pimpana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clarke Collins couldn't finish the play. Marshall Chant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loud Mewburn, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The audience was convinced that Loud Mewburn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marshall Chant was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Walgett's Marshall Chant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Walgett from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the match, Walgett's goalkeeper Marshall Chant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clarke Collins. Loud Mewburn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Marshall Chant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Loud Mewburn's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Marshall Chant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
