Bartholemew Gorham came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by NikoFC's Paco Merz. But to his dismay, Paco Merz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Howard Mcjunkins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ed Garing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cregan Oshea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cregan Oshea to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Paco Merz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bartholemew Gorham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Price, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Paco Merz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartholemew Gorham having to interfere. With a little luck, NikoFC's Howard Mcjunkins got control of the ball when Ed Garing tried to sneak it across the goal line. Loyd Kile got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 80 minutes into the match, Ed Garing had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Howard Mcjunkins. NikoFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ed Garing was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carson Bleazard during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
