Gregg Mcinnis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedict Orvad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan Bowman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedict Orvad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Bowman, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Telita's Benedict Orvad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan Bowman in the 14th minute of play. Kewell's Baxter Adair got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 23 played minutes Telita got a freekick which was hit by George Pegrum. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baxter Adair in the 26th minute of play forced Telita's goalkeeper Benedict Orvad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kewell's zone, Gregg Mcinnis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carter Glover came out of the goal and Gregg Mcinnis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Andrews Barling fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Telita's protests and gave Andrews Barling a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Andrews Barling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Kewell's Ryan Bowman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benedict Orvad narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ryan Bowman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Gregg Mcinnis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ryan Bowman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Benedict Orvad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kewell's Jordon Smoothey pulled a muscle in his leg after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Andrews Barling got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 58th minute, Andrews Barling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the game, Baxter Adair cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Benedict Orvad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 64 played minutes Kewell got a freekick which was hit by Dacosta Lawson. Gregg Mcinnis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Glover having to interfere. Carter Glover made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Logan Kenack in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregg Mcinnis in the 77th minute of play forced Kewell's goalkeeper Carter Glover to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Baxter Adair managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kewell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baxter Adair was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Telita's Benedict Orvad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Telita from getting a goal against them. Carter Glover showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregg Mcinnis, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Baxter Adair managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kewell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baxter Adair was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Kewell getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Patrick Price hit a great ball. Logan Kenack charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Logan Kenack the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kewell booed when Telita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Logan Kenack didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Kewell supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kewell would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
