Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eavan Benton in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niles Malacarne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mayfield's Pierre Oconnell got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pierre Oconnell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Lance Mccartan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lance Mccartan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darin Norton, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Niles Malacarne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eavan Benton in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Mayfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remington Weatherby to maneuver through the defense. Niles Malacarne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthew Pack, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Minvest Lucky United's zone, Darin Norton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lance Mccartan came out of the goal and Darin Norton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eavan Benton was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Matthew Pack cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Niles Malacarne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 60 played minutes Mayfield got a freekick which was hit by Bo Mcgregor. The supporters of Minvest Lucky United booed when Mayfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Mcgregor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niles Malacarne made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Matthew Pack sent off a good shot on target. Matthew Pack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eavan Benton helped the player get up and apologised. Minvest Lucky United's Lance Mccartan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darin Norton in the 82nd minute of play. Darin Norton scored 1-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lance Mccartan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Darin Norton struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Lance Mccartan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mayfield. Although Mayfield had been in control for most of the match, Minvest Lucky United still came away with the win.
