Kale Dorrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Christini in the 20th minute of the match. Pearce Kirkham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ullinas's Pearce Kirkham quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Burt Kinnaird, made in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Pearce Kirkham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pearce Kirkham made a kick off. Elliott Swan might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hal Hursey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elliott Swan ran back to his position shaking his head. Ullinas's Pearce Kirkham got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodney Miels during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rodney Miels kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Pilbara Palisades's goal looked a bit too open when Pearce Kirkham came free, but Hal Hursey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hal Hursey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cregan Hicks in the 74th minute of play.
